Plants
Sites and Parks magazine ceased publication in 2004. Len
Scaffidi, publisher and editor-in-chief of PS&P in
its heyday, played a role in bringing Plant
Site Locators together with the National Association of Manufacturers
(USA) as that organization sought to add site
selection to its member services for industrial
development. Scaffidi published Plant
Site Locations for NAM, an archived copy of which is maintained
in the off-line section of the Enterprise and Economic Development
Library. A search of the Web by the library staff later produced only
an article by
Melanie Avner from the publication's Winter 2001 newsletter.
