The idea for organizing city-region files in Site Location Assistance.com originated with the experience of working with business decision makers as they organized hunts for places to expand operations or start up new ventures, or to relocate. Typically, the leader of a site selection project will get things started by pointing to a map, making a circular sweep with a finger or pointer around a location and saying something like ... this is the area where we need to find a site. If not using a map, the point is made by explaining within what distance from a city as a transportation hub should be covered by a site search.
