Follow instructions in one of three paragraphs below:

If you are suggesting a region without wanting any further involvement, provide the name by which you believe it to be best known in the memo section of your email. Include its URL address string if you know of a website where there is information about the region online. We (who we are) suggest reviewing the definitions of region, development region, city-region, and location identity. Your input is appreciated even with limited information.

If you are suggesting a region as an area or local development contact, you should apply for or update your record in the Global Registry of Contacts. Describe the region and explain your interest or involvement as part of the services and service area paragraph. A development representative is a type of resource and service provider. Take a look at the definitions recommended for review in the paragraph above. Also, look over the paragraph below.

If you are suggesting a region as someone in position to provide information of interest to the target user group of The Network, take a look at page 4 of About Economic Development. After that you should refer to the above paragraph if you consider yourself to be a location data supplier. In fact, if you see yourself as any type of contact of interest to members of our (who we are) target audience, you are invited to suggest a region at the same time that you apply for or update your record in the Global Registry of Contacts.

Page 3 of the introduction to the Regional Site Selection Directory. It has instructions for contacting us (who we are) to suggest that a file for a region be organized and published in the directory which is a global resource for enterprise and economic development. Our interest is in maintaining the directory as an open access resource for finding information about nations throughout the world as well as regions, states, provinces, and other locations within them. You can help build this resource by suggesting a region now.
