facilities:

in terms of enterprise and economic development, an environment in which people and technology are integrated as a functional unit. Facilities are made up of component parts assembled in a location or on a site; i.e., they are constructed or assembled structures, apparatus, equipment, and other constituent parts of something that performs a specific function. The parts of an industrial facility altogether make a process work.

Facilities are the productive assets of enterprisessee the definition of business facilities. As productive units, facilities are located on commercial and industrial real estate sites. They are affected by the enterprise development process, i.e., expanded, relocated, improved, and retrofitted. Also, business and industrial facilities are assembled or constructed in locations to become new units of entrepreneurial startups. See definitions of manufacturing facilities, distribution facilities, and retail facilities.

Existing facilities are those that are already in place. They may be in use or shutdown, or they may be available. Units offered for sale or lease are available facilities.

Wikipedia has an article about facilities management.

Facilities as defined elsewhere are places made for public use (source of quote).
