skills base:

A skills base is a collection of data about the adroitness, aptitudes, abilities, proficiencies and competencies within a workforce which is maintained as a reference, especially, one providing a common understanding of what the lowest level of performance should be. Likewise, it is a line of reference for measuring performance against a standard.

Skills base is a location data element. It's used to promotes the base line of skills within the labor force of interest to an economic development prospect. Accompanying information is typically about institutions and programs for education and training in the area.

Suggestion: To search for contacts through The Network start with its global directory of contacts. There are three key search items published online.

When you find the name of someone or an organization that you are interested in you will either see a link for moving on, for example to contact data. In the event that you do not see a link or should you find one broken, send us an email (who we are).
